Dow Schofield Watts’ corporate finance team in Yorkshire & the North East, led by Roger Esler, has been shortlisted in five categories in the Insider’s Yorkshire Dealmakers Awards 2018.

The team is in the running for the Corporate Finance Advisory Team of the Year award for the third year in succession, winning in 2016.

DSW’s Corporate Finance and Transaction Services teams have also been shortlisted in the Deal of the Year categories for four separate transactions – Operam’s investment in Provide Education, NPIF’s £2m investment in Azzure IT, NorthEdge Capital’s investment in Platinum Stairlifts and the investment by Perwyn’s Debt Capital fund in the Darlington-based Feel Good Group.

Roger Esler has also been nominated for the Dealmaker of the Year award, having previously won the title in 2016.

The winners will be announced at the awards dinner at New Dock Hall in Leeds on Thursday 22 November 2018.

Roger Esler commented: “This is fantastic and much appreciated acknowledgement from the Yorkshire market of all the hard work by our specialist financial advisory teams in establishing the Dow Schofield Watts business in this region over the last six years.”

Meanwhile across the Pennines, the firm is also hoping to holding on to its accolades for another year after securing multiple nominations in the North West Dealmakers Awards.
